Newbie....
Picked up our Scooby today and thought I'd join.
Well what a great first experience.. ..read one of the threads on here an its tainted my thoughts on the type of forum it is.
Hopefully its not the norm. (Just read some more of the thread an it seems balanced in views)
Anyway - just traded the Evo in for an STi type R Limited, wow.....its insane.
Had a WRX a few years back but this is just awesome. Just wondered if there was somewhere I could get all the info on it from?

Why should a forum with 10's of thousands of people on it be any different than filling a room with 50,000 people? You're always going to get a few ******! Your best bet is the search, around 10 years worth of info waiting to be trawled through!

I can see many hours to come spent on here, so much info to search through.

For handling stuff post up in the Suspension section and the likes of 911 etc can help you out.
Also pay a visit on Type-RA.co.uk - Home of the Subaru Impreza WRX Type RA, Impreza WRX STi Type RA, Impreza Type RA V Limited, Scooby V. Ltd, visit the WRX forum & Subaru forum & www.tye-r-ra.co.uk if you need any Type R specific info on the car from Type R/RA owners.
Enjoy the motor and watch that DCCD control, car can bite hard if set to diff-free

You have to take threads like that lightly mate, just a bit of banter. For anything technical post your questions in General Technical as there are some very skilled/experienced scooby owners there.

Cheers mate - thanks for the info and advice.
Going to be firing loads of questions on here - loads of things different to the old WRX I used have.

Cheers mate - took it to a scooby guy today as it was making a horrendous noise when turning. Have been told its because it has a plated front differential........and this is normal. Not heard of this before. Any one got any info on this or can point me in the right direction to a thread.
Cheers
