not very mechanicly minded so im gonna pay someone to fit it.
How much can i expect to pay for the labour ?
how long will it take to fit?
what sort of power gain can i expect?
oh by the by im paying £300 for the FMIC of ebay, is that a good price?
cheers...!

b) see above
c) Nowt without a remap, which you will need after fitting, best part of 10% gain in bhp and possibly more torque likely, but FMICs are predominantly done for engine efficiency and safety reasons, not power per se.
d) Depends on the kit!
It may be better for you to get an TMIC from a blobeye Sti and fit that, easier and cheaper. Good for over 400bhp too.

I fitted mine in a couple of hours, but took all weekend to cut lumps out of my bumper to get it to fit ! !

P.S.Lewis would now say that you don't need a re-map for a change of intercooler.... but I would get one anyway ! If only to maximise the gain in bhp.
