Default crank regrind

does any 1 know of any where in the lincs/notts area that'll regrind my ej20 crank...struggling to find any where

ring jase @ scoobybits, he uses a reputable company for his rebuild work

ht autokraft i think. sure he can advise. in rotherham.

Bin it, don't regrind a Subaru crank!! Not worth the risk!

As above, don't regrind these.

You would be mad to try and save money in this area.

Buy a new one and don't take the risk.

I was also about to say the same, once scored they are scrap Cranks aren't that expensive.

spoke to an engine builder today & he said the same,told me that can't take much off...so does any 1 know what kind of price a new 1 is

Use your old one as a doorstop/paper-weight/boat anchor - the hardening on the journals is quite thin,so re-grinding is a no no.
Go to API,Lateral Perf. etc for a good price.

brought a brand new one from zen performance last month genuine subaru one think it was £350 -£400 off the top of my head get their no. off website n bell them had it sent within 2 days they had it in stock spot on

hello mate ive got one sat in my garage you can have for £50 it came out of my type r and theres nothing wrong with it and i live in notts.pm me if your interested but youll have to collect it..its for an ej20 and ill throw in my old clutch thats sat next to it also was in perfect working order. i just changed them because im going for more power and while the engine and box was all out thought id save on the labour having it done in the future.

with it comming out of a type r is it a centre or end thrust & is not the same as a sti crank

All ra/sti/wrx/type r etc cranks are the same dimensions, The only difference is weather it is a rear or centre thrust.
