just read this in the Daily Mail , the clowns running this country have moved the goal posts re the 'gas guzzling' high rate of car tax . It was a case of this only applied to cars registered after March 2006 , but now they are moving it back to cars registered after 2001 . I guess they have to pay for all the things they are spunking money on out there like Iraq Afganistan , and giving the rest of Europe hand outs

I think we on this forum have been ahead of the rest of the country on this one. The implications of that last budget for owners of 2001 onwards cars is only just beginning to sink into the conciousness of the country at large.
Now the press have got hold of it, watch this space - it could get interesting, especially given the dire popularity ratings of that piece of **** called Gordon Brown

Itsreally today when this story hit some of the TV news channels with the local elections due tomorrow and Gordon still suffering over the 10p tax scam
looks like labour are in for a ruff time tomorrow with everyone with a decent car realising their are going to pay more tax on their cars
Imagine squezzing 3 kids and eqipment into a small 1 litre car
hope labour really get clobbered tomorrow
