I now live in France
Much warmer, hardly any crime, no road tax, 98 fuel only about 1p nore than 95, only the odd speed camera and the local cops drive Clio’s
Scooby’s are a rare sight here car gets lots of attention.

No stupid car taxes, lower fuel prices and some fantastic empty roads to take the cars out onMore importantly hardley any crime, largest crime is drink driving which the French still think its their divine right.

From: Somewhere in Cyprus hunting down Ferraris, Porsches and that damn Veyron
Aussie in Cyprus.
Low crime compared to Sydney, can leave your car anywhere, safe for kids, low road tax and insurance, although high purchase taxes based on engine size . 100 octane 1.13Euro per litre.
Bored sh*tless though.

What penalty did you get for 180kph?
I got a ticket at 174kph from a camera (in a French registered car) but only got a fine think it was €90 thought I was in big trouble at that speed

Unlucky. I have seen a WRX near the cities but around us they don’t even have motor bikes.

Ah well, 10 years+ of speeding in france. That's only 9€ per year.
EDIT: Yeah, basically he said over 160kmp/h is a no-no. So cruise was set at 155 after that.
