What metals can be welded to alloy ?

Is it just alloy itself ?

i know theres Mig and Tig welding,can Tig be used to weld steel to alloy etc ?

basically i have a gudgeon pin,long story,i need welding to my motorbike frame,take it the gudgeon pin is steel

The metals need to be a similar type to be welded together. In answer to your question NO, Gudgeon pin to alloy frame isnt going to happen.
