Mileage on a full tank
Just wonderin what the average distance is that us scooby owners are getting from a full tank of juice nowadays. I know we all have different (but responsible) driving styles (ranging from the heavy right footer to the more conservative) and we all use different varieties of fuel, but I thought it'd be interesting to see how different drivers, driving styles and fuels fair against each other when it comes to miles achieved before an empty tank.

There are (literally!) hundreds of these threads if you do a search. I get around 200-220 miles per tank in my MY05 STI with PPP, that's a mix of motorway and town driving.

& that goes for my current car & two previous!
'99' WRX 'PPP' Import Wagon, Golf V6 4Motion & Currently WRX Bugeye!
That is unbelievable, i take it you never go over 3000rpm, hence the turbo never kicks in?

I can get around 360 on a full tank from my 06 WRX PPP if it's steady motorway drviing. Normally average about 300 but drops down to around 250 if mixed with town driving.
This is actually better than before the PPP was fitted !!

i get 190ish on a full tank on a nearly standard 96 2000 turbo, then again my car is running rich and my fuel gauge only works on full and towards empty. would having the car mapped to provide a less rich mixture improve the power as well as the mpg???

I think 150 miles for £20 is being a little flexible with the truth. You may have added £20 of fuel to the fuel already in the tank and then travelled 150 miles, but 150 miles for £20 in a Scoob would be a world record by miles. That means you'd be getting 450 miles to a tank or just under 40mpg. Possible I guess, but only with a big tailwind and a lot of coasting downhill.

07wrx and if driven lightly on mainly motorway get around 360-370 per tank, or just over 30 to the gallon. (Never driven till the light comes on)
If i drive it like it should be drove, around 160 per tank!!

06WRX - Average 220 per tank, driving miss daisy on the motorway 240 tops till light comes on. Average after 2 years use has been 21.3mpg
Dont understand how anyone with a 06/07WRX can be getting 300 plus, unless when the light comes on I have another 3 gallon left in it

Just been to Newquay at the weekend, £60 to fill it and got 300 miles, wasn't hanging about but wasn't being a twit either, averaging at 85/90mph most of the way in the early hours, very pleased.

I get between 200 and 250 depending on the driving. 05STIPPP+Mocom Remap.
I do get less though when using V Power (average of 22mpg with that) - If I use Tesco 99 (which I do most of the time) I get 24mpg average. No idea why, but I've checked many, many times and it's always the same result...

get about 110 to 20 quid, approx 4 gallons on my standard uk turbo MY00
mostly stop start thru country lanes but a nice dual carriageway just before you pull into the office
reckon it would be decent on a run on the motorway at about 80mph
