its £39 but if you buy it now you get the air con cleaner for free which is usually £11.99.

Yeah, let us know, cos it'll save some time. Might even get 2 cars done on bottle.

I used some yeasterday on a 306. I get it for 22 odd quid at a car place I go.
Its not bad, the a/c in the 306 wasn't too good, but its much better now.
Does the halfords stuff have a gauge on the bottle to tell you how pressurised the ystem is? I alos use the a/c cleaner. You have to set the can off like a smoke bomb and get out of the car for ten minutes.

ive used it on a few cars ive bought to sell on, it works well and its easy to use. theres even a gauge to show you how much life is in the system before you pump it in. so sometimes you wont even use a full can.

If it's for an Impreza I wouldn't bother. I've never had an Impreza that's had aircon that's any good, even in a brand new P1.

Try aircon in a Pajero or any VAG car.

I'm aware of that, it's still a 5hite aircon system, at least in the classics, I have no knowledge of newer shapes.

Topped up the tolly last year, it was cold, but i thought i would check it.

it was down a bit, but still in the green on the gauge.

two ten second bursts, and it was topped up,

and its as cold if not colder than before

and i did the smoke bomb bit at well.

Still got over half a can left

well i tried the air con stuff and am very pleased with the results.

Considering it didnt work at all before , its now as cold as our other 2 cars so i cant really complain at that. The gauge didnt even register so it was near enough empty but is now in the middle of the blue at 35psi.

Top stuff so far!!

Im raging

I have just spent £40 on a bottle of that air con stuff, and my PSI did not move!!!
It flickered a few times but did not react.

My ac does feel colder.or am i just imagining it!!
There was a hissing from the valve at one point but I managed to stop that.
Not sure if I have a burst pipe or dodgy valve.
£40 down the drain......gutted

Anyone tried to buy this stuff from ebay? Much cheaper but not sure if it's as good.
