Imagine a classic shape Forester hybrid. ello cheeky.

 

I saw briefly a Forrester STi going the other way on the motorway.

I don't think it stands out as ugly. More mean. If that fills your rear view mirror, move over!

If we're talking about the 'new' Forester I have to agree...



just another fugly SUV. A view shared by most SF and SG Forester owners. But the fact that most Subaru dealers are selling them by the shedload suggests that Subaru's ambition of capturing a greater proportion of the more mainstream SUV market is working...

Me, I'll stick with this old bus for a while longer. Not exactly a thing of beauty but certainly has rather more character.

Fair point Nathan but I very much doubt S'net will have (m)any new shape Forester owners amongst its membership... they're few and far between over on subaruforester.org

 

Subarus have never been noted for their aesthetic qualities.

All scoobs are ugly, they always have been! The latest designs might not be to everyones taste on here, but they have definitely more mass market appeal, which I guess really means that the majority of the world thinks they are better looking than the older cars!

Why don't you head to the muppet forum to continue you're flaming session, or are you not brave enough to try it in there?

 

And this is supposed to be a Subaru forum.

Just out of curiosity, how fast are the forrester stis?
0-60 etc

 

With a standard Lichfield type treatment (or equivalent) that most get, 0-60 is in 4.8secs.

I personally think the Forester STi looks top draw.

 

i dont think they are fugly just an aquired taste,a good choice if you need something to cart the family around in with space and dont want to compromise with space.

i quite like the look of the sti.
