Inside Or Outside?

Inside Or Outside?
Just cleaned & oiled my Panel Filter.
Last time I put too much oil on and the MAF sensor didn't like it.
So I have put on a lot less this time.
Would you leave it to dry inside the House or outside in the back Garden?
How long would you wait before putting it back in the Filter Holder?
Many thanks.
Regards

I would put it all back to standard - save a packet AND save your MAF!
But, Alan, you knew I would say that
Puzzles me why people, when armed with knowledge, go and smear oil upstream of the MAF which destroys a whole engine when it goes?

Hiya mate ..... I'm Pedro's mum by the way - pslewis was banned remember? A big song and dance was made of it, the papers were alerted and News at Ten were approached ....... he cannot post, even if he wanted to.
But he has just shouted that he wishes you all the best with your oily job, he says - remember to run backwards round the car singing 'Oil be home for Xmas' or your wheels will go backwards in every gear and your radio ***** will fall off .................... I'm sure you will understand, it's far too technical for me
