Just cleaned & oiled my Panel Filter.

Last time I put too much oil on and the MAF sensor didn't like it.

So I have put on a lot less this time.

Would you leave it to dry inside the House or outside in the back Garden?

How long would you wait before putting it back in the Filter Holder?

I would just let it dry in the house as long as it didnt smell! Try to leave it in a 'dust free' environment. Not sure on time to leave it but I would just say about an hour

If it was me i wouldnt bother with the oil, it could do more harm than good

 

I would put it all back to standard - save a packet AND save your MAF!

But, Alan, you knew I would say that

Puzzles me why people, when armed with knowledge, go and smear oil upstream of the MAF which destroys a whole engine when it goes?
