anyone?

i know it can happen..and was wonderin if anyone has had it happen to them.

reason bein i am thinkin of a full decat,and no i cant afford a sports cat

 

nope, and I REALLY hope it never happens

 

ive almost been stopped for it,they were parked in a layby on a local B road but was lucky enough to pull into a side road when i seen them pulling over cars

 

My CEL light is on, I know you used to be able to get away with it before saying that the car isn't running right. They then used to pink slip you giving enough time to gat a cat back on and a quick emmisions test at a MOT station.

This may have changed now though.

 

if it ever happened u would get chance to repair and re test as it aint a safety thing.

 

yep, but only once.

Although on a stretch of road I used to drive on I've seen them on at least 4-6 occasions in 2 years.

 

Yes stopped by vosa, emission, lights and wheel check, passed all three, even with a decat.

 

what do you guys do come MOT time? dodgy dave or refit a cat? surley thats hassle and £££ in labour costs if you cant do it yourself.

 

Mine always passes.

With decat & stuff.
