Default Extended warranties

Car was 3 years old in May, so obviously it ran out of it's warranty.

Did anyone get letter from Subaru offering to extend the warranty? And if so, for how much?

I never got a letter, so it's out of warranty. Just wondering how much it is, as to whether or not I'd have gone for it.

Rear shocks are the things that springs to mind. Had both the front & rears changed under warranty.

I took the extended the first year out of warranty and back then it was £565 for the MY03 STi. After that just decided to keep enough the bank to cover the cost myself, at least that way if it didn't go wrong and I sold the car I was £565 better off.
