I thought the defi oil pressure plate was optional.

The instructions I've read for fitting the pressure gauge is to replace the standard low pressure switch under the alternator and the temp gauge at the back of the block above No.3 cylinder.

I wasn't all that impressed with having no low pressure oil light but I'm good friends with the guys at HEL hoses who could sort me out a T piece so both could be used but I'm not "investing" in proper defi sensors. I just can't see that £190 is a fair price for 2 sensors.
Will go and have a chat at the weekend.

fit a T piece into the oil pressure switch.

I'm not mate.
It's not for defi's. It's for a PSI3 data monitor. And the sensors are more than the data monitor was!!

I'm interested in hearing about any other alternatives for the PSI monitor as well.

RS components will probably have the right sensors - but you have to know the spec of the standard items to get the correct ones.
To put in perspective, SPA gauges mark up their sensors by 100%.
If Defi are charging £90 per item then £45 per sensor is about right for most models found on RS components.

Mmmm...I happen to have some for sale, the Defi plugs have been removed because they were for a SECS unit.

Bidding war anyone, first reasonable offer gets them
