Question Give me the bad news - what's it worth?

Decided it's time for a change so will probably be part-exchanging the scoob in the very near future and it'd be useful to know exactly how much I can expect if I trade it in. Details:

Silver MY00 (W reg) Turbo
Full UK spec Euro import with air con
61000 miles
Full Subaru / specialist service history
cat back Magnex stainless steel exhaust system
Tek 3 remap by Bob Rawle

Cheers,

Si

A mate of mine traded in his standard x reg Turbo 2000 with similar mileage 2 weeks ago and got £4250.

I was a little surprised, but it was mint.

There is a 2000 w with 39k on it near me up for 4k on a private sale.
You will at a guess be looking at low 3's for a trade in.
Just done a national search on Autotrader and there are over 2500 for sale.
Good luck.

Mileage is relatively low, so good thing.
Euro import might affect the price.
But I reckon £3750 would be a good price.

I must be missing something here. Are you saying that last year you paid £8,400 for a 6/7 year old Impreza that cost £20,000 new? Why was it so expensive? I'd have said £6,000 tops for an absolute low mileage minter.

It has the aircon which is a plus for you and a good selling point as it wasnt standard on these cars, add a couple of hundred quid for that, your probably looking 3700-4k depending on condition etc.

Does seem quite expensive. I bought my bugeye 2003 52-plate with 30k on the clock for £8k. But I guess Imprezas were more relatively more expensive last year, as we draw nearer to the dreaded 2009 with the increase in tax, prices are dropping like flies.

But £3.5k trade in price for a bugeye That's really poor. Not suprised you decided to keep it. That's daylight robbery
