Default Excessive inner tread wear ?

Hi all, noticed the other day while dressing the tyres that the fronts were worn alot more than the rears so i switched them over. after taking the fronts off i discovered that the insides were worn signifacantly more than the outsides why is this. the tyres in question are a set of pirelli p-zeros. i have had the geo done but it was only done about 1000 miles ago. the only suspension mod is a rear arb 24mm adj set on medium, The tyres have only done 6000 miles from new, the rears are fine they still look as new.

The car is a 2004 sti ppp. (350). so why has it chewed these tyres in the way it has then chaps.

My mate has a prodrive sti8 the same as yours and his does the same. He was told that it is to do with geometry settings that prodrive use. Take it to a garage and if there is nothing mechanically wrong get a 4 wheel laser alignment done with slightly less aggresive settings!

sounds like it could be normal wear, but if it's excessive i'd get the geom checked, including caster, which is very importent and a lot of places don't check it or dont know how to!
i do at my place of work

I had P Zero tyres on my STI.
I had uprated suspension and full lazer alignment without any uneven wear.
I would get the settings checked as they appear to be incorrect.

think a lot of it is down to the style of driving if the car is set up correctly! i do mine regular as i have the equipment at work, not just a lazer type, the computer one that does all agles not just toe
and my tyres wear more on the inside edge of the front tyres, and very slightly more on the outside edges on the rear
before anyone says my geometery is out, it's not

When i had the prodrive geo done on mine the guy did say it may chew the inside of the tyres more. But so far every thing is more than fine

i think it is a bit to do with the prodrive settings and alot to do with my ever so slight style of driving. always getting understeer.
