just come back from my local garage and they're still sold out drove back from devon yesterday and luckily found one with some, having tried 3 previous ones that were dry.
normal unleaded and deisel is ok. does seem an awful long time to get the v power in? the strikes been over for 4 days now and it didn't take this long for stocks to arrive when that refinery blew up the other year!
or is it just the ones i've tried?

After a visit to my local Texaco today seams not just shell but low stock of all brands of Super. All my local garages are out of super unleaded. Last weekend didnt help when many garages after selling out of normal unleaded left people no choice but to buy super.

From: Markyate.Imprezas owned:-wrx-sti5typeR-p1-uk22b-modded my00. Amongst others!
I called around today to find out which garages had vpower or SUL. I tried the only number available for any of the local shell garages, no-one answered. I called the number for the local Tesco's filling station, got through to a central line in one ring, was told the garage was engaged and she would ring back,. Yeak ok I thought, like that will happen anytime soon. Within 60 seconds she'd called back and told me the info wanted.
Why have I bothered with Shell all these years with their crap level of service. The one next to my work (Dome roundabout Watford) is always low on petrol and over the past few years have introduced a shop closing time from 10pm to 6 pm, so everyone has to queue outside.
Tesco from now on I think.

none of the 10 near me ran out, mind you they only get filled up every other week so most had missed the problems
Mind you the other month one of the garages was dry because they sent the lorry to scotland instead of west wales by mistake!!!!

well, a not in use sign on the pump doesn't mean empty apparently
went into my local to enquire when they expect delivery (will be tommorow so no biggie) and he said 'how much do you want?' my reply was how much you got
'pull over to pump 7, take off the not in use sign and put in as much as you can' he said, 'might be a tenner in there, might be £100 but when i clicks out that's your lot'
£58 later i'm brimmed and thanking a guy i always considered a miserable person with no interest in the customer, how wrong could i be?
