was a good show done 2 quater miles at 14secs but....

i have bust first gear up????

everytime i left of the power in first a high pitch reversing sound happens when i decelerate...


any1 done this or have a clue what ive ****ed?

think alot of people were getting bad times over the weekend, as there was a v strong wind, going down the strip.

i was just junder a second off times i was doing a couple of months ago up there.

 

Think Andy ran the last run at 9.9 i think

was a top day first time i have been, shame about the wind though

will try and get some photos up

 

It was my first visit to Santa Pod, thought it was great watching the Subaru's, Andy's car was fantastic to watch, great day!.

 

I had three runs all in the 12,s ......a 12.9 followed by a 12.7 and finally a 12.34 @109mph.......

The class win was a 12.0 sec run...

Have to agree with the wind as had a wobbly moment before finish line on one run...

Was hoping to break into the 11,s.........maybe next time.

Spotted another impreza ,a classic sonic blue spoilerless with a carbon boot lid a couple of cars in front of me in the que....anyone on here???

I was there. I was going to do a few runs but after seeing the wind coming down the track at about 50 mph I gave it a miss.
Wouldnt have been able to beat my best time with the conditions.
some guy from my jap club sheered his 2nd gear off in his scoob!!
not a good day for him and then he reckoned he was going to drive home with it. 60 odd miles!!

 

Wonder if he had the 12.0 sec run....

 

only got 2 runs for the day, and when i went back for a 3rd, they told me it was finished

best i got was 13.06 @ 107.88
a fair bit down on my PB of 12.6 @ 112 that i have done there a few times

i was chattin to someone with a red classic with a 2.5 in and he had some goos runs

Was having a mare with a missfire in third gear

Was doing the 60ft in 1.7 secs but could only manage a 13.1 at best, then the gearbox started to whine a bit, so decided to stop for the day

A 12.0 would have been nice

 

Best 60ft for me was 1.8........would have been nice to be up against another Ra........but at least i whipped an mitsi MR 340

 

I ran a 9.9 in the final, Johns winning 8.0 second skyline runs 1.1 second 60' times !
I was thrown in with the pro drag cars as I had perspex door windows, otherwise I was street class.

Never got the Nitrous running unfortunately.

I was there but I'm afraid I clearly shamed the scooby masses being in the 14s .... but I do suffer from clutch nervousness (medical term caused by the lack of money need a cluctch to survive) + in need of a remap big time and should get at least into the early 13s in not late 12s ..

Ahh...... thought it was a 340....the guy was very young who drove it

 

he got a 13.5 in that 320 later in the day. gona get a six speed and some more power and be back next year with a roliing start.
