but does my V3 STI have a lsd,,,,, and also does it have a transfer box

reason i ask it ive just had the brakes tested on a machine for the MOT and they let 1 wheel spin at a time,,,,,, which worrys me somewhat as i thought you couldnt due to transfer boxes on 4x4 cars ??

someone asked this b4 and i think they said the car gets its brake test on the road as its 4wd it shouldn't get put on the brake test machine

 

They dont have transfer boxes as the engines mounted longitudinal, with the gearbox the same. If it was mounted transversley, like an Evo for instance, it would have a transfer box.

Im not the most clued up, so might possibly be wrong, in which case someone will correct me im sure.

 

I thought they were denoted AWD because you cannot turn off any of the drive axles unlike landys and stuff,I await correction....
