I have watched tons of vids on youtube, but either the vids don't capture the loudness of the system or they just arent as loud as my old setup on my old bugeye. (Afterburner vortex and centre section).

I am going to order a backbox and centre section this week and I still can't decide between the Nur Spec or the Afterburner.

Would be helpful if I could hear what a Blitz system sounds like, then I could make a better decision as I already know how the Afterburner sounds.

Are you able to buy the back box on its own???,i've got a full Revolution System but would only want to change the back box on MY05 WRX

 

think the back box alone is called NurSpec S where as the NurSpec R is backbox and centre pipe

 

yes neil. situation is that the nur spec-r is a 3" system, so the backbox and the centre dont taper down (except for the downpipe connection). so unless you have a 3" centre section, you cant fit a nur spec-r backbox.

nur spec-s is a backbox only, no centre section, but it only has 2.5" pipework so fits any other aftermarket system.

i personally think its a waste, and find the nur spec-s the porsche boxter of exhausts while the nur spec-r is the 911 turbo

 

The revolution systems are slip jointed. Make sure the Blitz is the same and same bore, otherwise it wont fit.
