Still drive the same.To be honest if it gets to the stage when i have to drive like miss daisy to save on fule i'd just sell the scoob. i only do about 150 miles a week so only use about £50ish a week. i prob spend an extra £10 a week on fule now than say 2 years ago but if you have to worry about an exta £40 a month on fule you have bought the wrong car. lol

bid difference for me, cost has gone up from anywhere from £240 - £300 a month, due to doing slightly more millage and the cost.
been thinking of seeling up as i dont see the point of keeping it just top use at the weekends as i am always busy as it is

No. But I am finding it easier to overtake people on the way to work. Perhaps they have backed off. Just adds to the fun and makes me want to drive harder while it is still possible.

at the end of the day they're all our pride and joys but they are just a car. i have a scooby to enjoy it, if i can't enjoy it there's no point owning one.
i might have a different view if i did a few more miles than i do though

When I'm using it for work then I drive like Morgan Freeman. On my own time I'm less restrained. i'll probably average 280 to 300 miles on a tank with my STI. Leeds and back got me 375 with 5 litres left

My lass drives during week and goes steady. If I drive it on the weekend I rarely put my foot down anyway. I'm scared of getting it dirty never mind the fuel price :-)

If it ever stops leaking V-Power, blowing from bits of it's exhaust, and the drop-links SHUT UP....
No !
But for the last seven weeks it's hardly moved....
Now I seem to have 1.6 bar and a heavy right foot.
Calling JGM....
LOL

I'll not be driving any where if the garages up here don't get some V Power in the pumps soon
The price hasn't slowed me down though as I don't do a great deal of miles.

And too right as well! Every time I hear the turbo kicking in or the occassional pop from the exhaust it's like sticking two fingers up at the establishment and all these ****ing annoying greenies that seem to have literally grown out of the wood work over the past few years

1.25 Zetec Fiesta now more than ever doing all the long journeys. Just gotta love 50mpg! Impreza currently more for entertainment than motorway schlepping. Can't see fuel prices dropping..........ever really.

If you can't afford it sell the car i say.
What's the point of having a fast car and then driving slow because you cant afford the petrol!
Buy a sport and make it look like a turbo if you going to do that!
