advice on price

Well, for a start it has done 89,000 miles and not 82,000. Might not sound much, but takes you a lot closer to the pyschological 100,000 mile barrier. Other than that it sounds like a fairly honest car. However, most of the new stuff adds nothing to the resale value with the possible exception of the full respray which sounds like it has been done by the owner. Whether that's a good thing or not depends on if he is any good .
You probably know what I am going to say now. Put in a cheeky offer. Chocolate O'Brian just sold his mint T-reg for 3 grand. This car is 3ish years older and doesn't look as tidy as his car. So say you're a cash buyer and offer £2500 cash. Then let the guy stew. Don't go over 3 grand though because, if Monsieur O'Brian's car is anything to go by, there are good cars available for that money.

im gonna go with blueblaster on this. maybe try £3k as mine had lots of spray work done last year.
only one guy came to look at it within 2 weeks and left a deposit there and then.
i dont wanna sound rude, but maybe try laying your advert out a little. it seems a little chavish and too far spaced out. i just typed all my waffle on microsoft word, spell/grammar checked it and pasted it onto my add.
put as much info as possible, not a couple of lines "and lots more", people lose interest.
good luck fella, but that 100k mark is a bugger and your is approaching it without any major rebuild work such as gearbox and engine which i had both on my scoob.
hopefully like me you will entice a proper car enthusiast who appreaciates more than just tyre kicking. i had idiots offering £2500 - **** off. if it wasnt for the fuel/tax etc and the credit crunch i would have asked for £4-4.5k and propably got it.
one final tip... try make sure as best as possible your pics do the car justice. no crappy camera phones, get some good digital pics taken from various angles. i recommend this because the market is absolutley flooded with scoobs, mainly imports from my experience, so people are very picky nowadays, and as b.b. said, its a buyers markets.
