I've had my Impreza since December but have only really been using SN for the last month or so. I'm finding this place friendly, welcoming, informative and most of all helpful! Not wanting to be critical of 'other' Subaru clubs that I'm a member of but when I post a question or join in on here there are answers and a bit of banter which is always good. The 'other' place is like a ghost town and I'm feeling too much like an outsider, even posting up simple questions.

Anyway, great club and glad I'm here!

I've been on here since 2002 (Owned first Subaru in 1998), don't post a huge amount.
But it is an extremely usefull place for information.

It is good here. I haven't had an Impreza for a year now and I still haven't left yet. Even if I don't get one again I dare say I'll still be posting for the sake of it

Gone are the days when a chap could post a question about an oil change and be beaten sensless around the face with a large halibut weiled by some moustached gentleman as punishment for daring to post such trvial tripe.
This would be followed up by accusations of being a 'namby pamby ' and to get a ****ing grip man

 

Been on here myself now for 3 years since buying my STI.

Only Subaru site I post on. You get the odd Troll, but generally you get decent answers to genuine questions.

The banter and good humoured p1ss taking is what make this site so good. Will still be posting on here long after the Scoob is gone.

 

The knowledge/help/information is still here, but you have to dig deeper to find it now, unfortunately. The ownership profile has changed considerably over the years...

 

 

I've found this with every car I've owned really. They start at a high price with high insurance to keep the young chavs away but sooner or later they drop to the Giro band and then the ones that give us a bad name enter the club. There was a post about a black M reg driving around MK like a compete **** the other day and a guy in an RB320 got branded with the same brush.

Shame but if you dont have a Zonda these days you're always going to get some undesirables.

I'm addicted to this site! There's allsorts on here! If you want info someone will give you it, opinions too or even if you just want a laugh! Not bothered with any other websites, I haven't found the need
