MAF Worries!!!
Sorry another MAF thread.
I have an MY00 Classic UK Turbo2000 had it about 2 years and has always been a pretty quick car and pulls well.
Yesterday I thought I would clean out my JR panel filter so I took it out and got all the ****e out of it as it was caked. I put this back in and went for a drive got about 2-3 miles and check engine light came on.
I stopped the engine and had a look MAF was plugged in and looked ok, I connected black connectors together under dash and I got 2 codes the MAF error code and Oxygen sensor blinked out.
23 and 32
I started it up and unplugged MAF and it didn't stall however the revs dropped right down and then rose again as the ECU caught it again so it didn't stall.
Is my MAF broke? I am thinking I should replace it anyway just to be safe?
My god I am paranoid about my MAF lol
Thanks in advance

From what you've said it's probably ok. You should clean your filter every six months though. Check that you've put the filter back properly and the airbox is sealing well. Maybe the extra airflow from unblocking the filter has confused the ECU and has given a MAF error for that reason. Try resetting the ECU.
Replacing it might not be a bad move anyhow as they are known to progressively under read as they get older. The O2 sensor can be checked using a voltmeter.
