No!!! swap the MR2 in for a Turbo model!!!

Surely the K&N sound is good enough for you? (did you get the power loss sorted?)

Do they do one with a ScoobySport exhaust sound? be cheaper than buying the full exhaust joking...

Cool

JGM

I was at the Well Lane Scoobynet RR day yesterday, so had a word with them about the K&N. They reckon with mid engined cars, induction kits are not much use due to not enough cold air getting through. He also said that K&N only developed them for the 158bhp Rev 2 engine so the filter is probably restricting air flow.

So I swapped it back to standard yesterday, and although my great noise has gone , the power is fully back now. Just glad I didnt pay the £78 for the Green kit before I saw your reply on here.

Will sell the kit on to someone for the same cash, so no problems there. May look at a perfromance exhaust instead.

This is just scary... I wonder when Halfords will be getting them in.

Novas with bonnet scops and blow off noises...<shudder>

DreamWeaver - That explains it then.. as the MR2 I had was a 92.. 158bhp (or what ever it was)... sorry it didn't do what you wanted... good luck selling it on.
