My company is the U.k's sole importer of these .

Can't really talk about my parts on here as I don't have my AA tag back yet, but I have paid

Anyway, I have these on my car and they are going on two of our sponsors cars very soon.

When I'm back on I can tell you more about them

I bought a set last year after looking at becoming the UK dealer , I found they were poor quality , poorly made and didn't fit my car , so gave up on them.

Chris F above is selling them now , he's CDF racing on ebay , he's welcome to them !

Cheers Ian

Ian,

I know nothing about the brakes, but under any circumstances, that's a cheap shot at a competitor !

We also had a set to evaluate, and we found these a very nice bit of kit.

They are made the same place stoptech make there brakes and import quality seals from Germany,

The oem pads supplied are nothing to write home about but these can be upgraded ..

One of our sponsors is a very well known tuner in the Uk with a high powered scoob to test them on, I will see what they have to say ... but for me they are much better than my standard oem brakes and maybe better than my old D2 racing kit

Just giving my opinions on the kit , I didn't get any help from the supplier of the kit when corresponding with them , they wanted me to let them know how to fit it ! I couldn't get a refund so not impressed with them at all

I found that the caliper size was a mis match for the pads , the pads didn't fit the discs properly they were overhanging the outside edge of the discs , the calipers could not go onto the disc anymore as the inside radius was a sharper angle than the outside radius of the discs .

The calipers were not really wide enough to fit the discs in properly , the pads wouldn't fit in the gap left .
The calipers had been sprayed after they were built , all the pistons were covered in paint , there was paint up the sides of the pistins in the bores

The discs had blow holes in them , so dont know what material they used in them , so wouldn't like to comment on how they would last.

It wasn't meant as a dig at anyone , even though I am still a bit narked at chris for buying and copying my rear brackets and selling them cheaper than me and advertising them as though its his design , thats a bit of a cheap shot , but its life I guess.

Cheers Ian

Regarding the brackets.... I did not buy them from you to copy. A customer came to me with a set and said " can i make them for him " so i did.
I did not know they was yours as I was new to scoobynet at the time , I also stating I would not advertise them on scoobynet as I found out after you sold them on here which i felt was decent of me.. I cannot help if we can make them cheaper than you . sorry

Chris , I dont want to get into an argument with you , but just one point , if you say a customer wanted you to make a set , ok , if you made one set for someone else ok , but then to sell them yourself from then on is totally different.
It seems funny that the address I sent them to is near your unit ? I think it was you that ordered it to copy and sell them.

Yes you could make the kit cheaper I suppose , as its me that has spent the time and money designing and testing them , you have just jumped the process and stolen the end product.

I also don't want to argue about these as I don't have time , but I have to argue my case and that is these were brought to us to make , and the customer suggested they would be good sellers ,... these being shipped near us have nothing to do with us and was not planned.

I will gladly change the design if it makes you happy but end of the day the the holes have to be in the same position as you know, also you were not the first company to make these.
That's enough from me now,.. if you would like to work something out please drop me a email.

Thanks chris

2 companies fightin publically on a forum board about a patent issue. Oh dear.

Surely, for both your company images, this is something that can be resolved over the phone or by email ?

I cannot give you a honest answer on that just yet as I didn't swap them for Brembo's on mine . One of the cars we are having these fitted to has got Brembo's on so they will be able to give me feedback on them. The car is 700bhp btw

See my profile for a look at the brakes

Fit some Performance Friction Discs and Pads, and the STi Brembos are a fab setup. Enough for track dedicated cars.

Here's one then....

I've heard the PF setup with brembos is good, but how good is it to say the BIG Ksport brake package, which is of similar price?

I'd be interested to know.

I've never tested KSports/D2/... kits, so can't comment.

I can comment on the buy in prices and to put things in perspective the discs used with the KSports/D2/... kits is a fraction of the price of PF ones.

PF Discs are a patented design that you won't get elsewhere and is very sucessful in motorsport.

You've read the reviews about how good they are, and yes they really are that good.
