You cant map the V4 ecu. You will need an Apexi FC, Simtek, Link, Motec, Autronics ecu to replace your ecu and then be mapped.

You would be best deciding how far and how much power and money you are going to spend then getting it done all at once, or you will need tweaks to the mapping everytime you change a performance engine part.

Is it expensive to get the mapping done because i was thinking of doing a few mods at a time then getting remaps along the way?
Does the apexi with commander allow you to do your own tweaks when modding or is it pretty limited, and which would be the best ecu to go for?

Tweaks to the mapping shouldnt cost as much as a full mapping session, depends on what you have had done really. Iwould expect to pay £100 or there abouts for a tweak to the map.

The Apexi with commander will allow full mapping but, you need to konw exactly what you are doing, else run the risk of blowing up your engine if you get it wrong.

Apexi is a good ecu, cheap cost. Simtek has more features but costs more.
Any of the ecus I listed are very good, it all depends what power you want and how much your bank balance can take.

My prefered port of call is API, very near to Leamington. But you could also try Scoobyclinic, TSL, Zen performance, there are others.
