Has anyone developed a centre console pod/dash mount to hold the 60mm (or 52mm) Defi gauges?

I used to have the PSI digital display on my old 03 STI and I miss seeing the turbo boost & oil pressure!

I was thinking the area below the heater controls could house two 60mm gauges?

 

On Closer inspection I think the gap's a bit tight, unless the gauges are mounted at 45 degs backwards slant.




Looks like a pillar pod then. (Not my ideal choice)

 

Maybe check out Harmann over at NASIOC.

He's been developing plenty of new mods for the MY08. Maybe they have something.

Found this is anyone is interested.

60mm Defi gauge compatible

 

Pillar pods may not be a good idea on UK MY08s due to the air bags in them.... a defi in the face if they off may be a bit painful Do Euro/JDM have these air bags too or is it just UK?

im sure i have seen an STi boost gauge with pod. mounts on the right side of the dash.
