certainly makes for an interesting few stats
they were all pumping out way more BHP than they should as standard

 

There is more to it than those stats, if you run the car on unleaded it wont give that sort of figure, you will gain power by running it on super unleaded though.
Back in those days, most people ran the cars on the best available fuel, that does not always happen now, so those figures are only an example, one car may push 230, the next 210 yet both be exactly the same.
