hmmm... my WRX does the same Revs at thoes speeds listed, is that not right for a MY93 WRX?

What would a standard WRX be doing at 70mph, And what does a UK car do at 70mph?

rebuild yours and put in a uk 5th gear.

great acceleration as you were used to with comfortable motorway cruising.

You could source a 'box from a V Limited Type R (Version V/VI)..

These have the same short gears for acceleration, but then a lightly longer 5th for motorway cruising...

My type R does 3700 at 70mph. The acceleration is mental. You will be changing gears all the time....I mean all the time! hahahaha

I'm looking at fitting the longer P1 5th gear in my Type R just to cut the revs down a bit on the motorway, as others have said 4k =80mph, the longer 5th should cut that by 500rpm or so.
