Question Place in Cambridge to get some break pads put on

Thinking of getting it done at Extreme but the pads on the rear have gone so don't want to drive too fare and **** the discs.

Suggestions? Cant do it myself as I don't know what I am doing and if I did don't have anywhere to do it.

Also thinking of getting a survice done, Extreme charge abt £113 and I usually go there.

Cheers.

I'll do it for £20

Seriously, it is a doddle to do:

1) remove wheel
2) pull out pins that hold pads in
3) pull out pads
4) put in new pads
5) put in pins
6) put on wheel

Repeat for the other side.... 10 mins tops

Any Kwik Fit type place will do it cheap (normally £25 for fronts). Its usually best to agree the price upfront.

Don't mess with the brakes if you are not confident IMHO.

Cheers for the replies guys I'd rather have someone who knows what they are doing fit them, if theres a wrong way to do it I'm bound to find it

I'm in Milton, would Performance tyres do it? wasnt shore if they did breaks

Oh and also still need some mud flaps fitting.....yes, I am useless!

Cheers.

If you are there during the day tomorrow i could pop round and do the pads as it is only down the road from me and I need to head into cambridge for a couple of bits.

I will pass on the mud flaps though - that is a git of a job

That would be great cheers , I have to work unfortunately but I only work down Milton rd so it shouldn't be too much of a problem getting back, what sort of time?

The mud flaps are a bit odd thought they were gong to be easy to fit but cant make it out thinking of getting them done when I have a service.
Seen how other people have done theirs and they didn't look that good, some using wood blocks and others using silicon.

Cheers for the help
