Default My Group-N exhaust has made my STI slow!

Well, sort of...

I bought one of these lovely TSL backboxes to go with the highflow midpipe and I'm blown away with the sound it's producing. It's just that at low revs (1500rpm to 2000rpm) it sounds SOOOO meaty that I'm now pottering around like I've got Miss Daisy in the back

If anyone's considering a new backbox or full system then these are just great on the Hawkeye.

I'm late for every meeting now but by God I've got a smile on when I get there!

David

The point I was trying to make was that it sounds amazing at low rpm/speeds.

Anyone know if a TSL backbox is as loud as Blitz?
If it is, I might go for one of these instead as its so hard trying to get of a BLitz at the moment

No its not as loud as a blitz. I would say its somewher between a prodrive BB and a blitz. I does have a nice low thump to it which my old prodrive box didnt have.

Love the sound of my TSL, knock all the windows down frequently just to get a listen. Even my neighbours think it sounds nice, which is lucky as the car rumbles out of my garage at 6.30am every weekday.

Mines, decatted right through with TSL Firestorm on the rear and I love it too, my lad has the Blitz Nur Spec, his is louder than mine but not by a great deal on tickover, its slightly deeper but when he gets going his is def louder, he loves his too but he's considering changing his as too many people can hear him coming if you know what I mean, he wants to be a little more inconspicuous.

Gota love that burble, also when on overrun, just feather the throttle when slowing down or cruising along, and its like music to my ears. Who needs stereo systems, its all about exhausts

i think im right in saying that the spec S is just the backbox and the spec R is the backbox and centre section
