Default Polymer paint protection - fact or fantasy ?

So is this polymer paint protection "shine" really better than waxing.

I like the idea of never having to wax again

So who can recommend someone to do this Stuff - there seem to be lots of "claims" out there.

I want some sort of protective shine for my new sti 08

Cheers

in a word NO they dont last forever there not worth the cost and i for one don,t believe the claims they say it does having been a spray painter for the best part of twenty years ive painted many cars that have this protection system on and you still get the contamination eating into the paintwork (birdlime) and other contaminates a good quality wax will do the job just as good
