Set the fire extinguisher off
Well thats now my 4th fire extinguisher I have used now. The pin has somehow fell out of this one and while under acceleration the extinguisher has fell against my seat and set itself off i was suddenly surrounded in a cloud of smoke. Got the windows down and drove home carefully to clean the interior off as if it had lodged itself and emptied the whole extinguisher the interior would of been a right mess. It already looks like I have poured a bag of polyfiller over the carpets

A plumbed in system is all well and good, but its far more likely to be set off by accident if you drive about with the pin removed (assuming its a mechanical system)! Even with a plumbed in system you will still need a 2 kilo hand held: in that case tape them both up!
Simon (not set off an extinguisher by mistake in 15yrs... )

Surely at that price point itll be refillable? Even one costing £10 is refillable (usually), as long as it has a metal valve. That mightnt be cost edffective though, but for a £35 one, Id certainly be looking...
