Default Anyone been conned by Motorpoint (.co.uk)

Title as above.

Bought a motor from them for me father-in-outlaw and when test driven, it had a sterio/radio/Cd player and what appeared to be 2 keys for the ignition/alarm fobs.

Picked up the car and no radio to be seen and only 1 key/ keyfob.

Anyone else with this ?

Good point.

SHE wanted the car (mother-in-outlaw) that is.

They said that it was in their terms and conditions on their website. Tiniest linking icon I've seen yet (furthest bottom right on the main web page)

If it's a Euro import, then that's why they are so cheap I guess. Money you have saved should buy you a good after market stereo

I'd be more worried about the key tho.... even after the additional cost for a new one, could you sleep at night knowing that someone might have a spare??? :-o

If it's on HP and you default it'll be easier to recover...
I can't see why they'd keep the spare key....

dont buy from motor point then, u cant expect the service or condition of cars to be 100%. However when agreeing the price etc, you were talking about a particular car, which means you should get it how you saw it if not better.

In their Ts & Cs:

"Motorpoint will pass to you all keys, manuals, service records and radio codes received"

Can't find anywhere where it says about retaining a key.
