Trying to Advise My Friend Whether or not to have a bid?
Guys,
Have a look at this; 1995 SUBARU IMPREZA WRX - 315 BHP - LOTS OF EXTRA'S on eBay, also, Subaru, Cars, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 26-Jul-08 15:17:42 BST)
My mate is quite keen, I'm trying to advise him. But was wonder what you guys think.
Yes I know its an auto, I've already slated him for that part.

Eww auto, plus the fact it's had a vf23 turbo fitted plus an fmic but is still restricted to 112mph meaning he's running it all off the standard ecu.
Avoid!!
Oh and those stainless filters are poor for filtering and are known to kill off maf's.
This is one that he should be watching, it even has a simtek ecu.
1996 SUBARU IMPREZA WRX WHITE on eBay, also, Subaru, Cars, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 27-Jul-08 09:13:03 BST)

seems ok but there is no mention of a remap!? tbh your best off going to have a good look , listen for piston slap and the usual.
I got my wrx import for £2500 with lesser mileage 66k miles so £3500 sounds abit too much especially when a 51 plate P1 just sold for £5200

Thats was my worry, standard ECU or no remap.
Plus no mention of larger injections, uprated fuel pump or FPR.
So to get 320bhp the cars has to be running lean in my mind.
Plus the paint looks to be a mix match of 406 silver and the later gold silver.
