long scratches about two thirds the length of the glass????
there are brushes n the ends of the runners that the glass slides down in to, sounds like they're worn like mine!!!!

Perhaps polishing might get rid of the scratches. Maybe worth asking Polished Bliss.

I've got these on two of my windows as well, exactly as described, like 2/3 the window length. When me drivers windows down the door rattles a lot so I think there must be something knackered guide wise which is maybe causin the scratch too?
As asked, how much has anyone paid to replace the runners etc?
