Hi, ive got a scooby sport special classic, and ive had a wine in my first and second gears for months, but i think its about time i get it sorted and get a new box in it.

ive found a breakers that have a box from 2000 sport wagon and the number on it is H7-TY754XR1AA

and the number on my gearbox is Hj-ty754vr1aa.

could anybody tell me if the second hand box would work in my car please?

 

the answer is no,the ratios are different ,you would have to use the rear diff from the donor car aswell and it will drive different if you did this.you could put your engine at risk if you get a miss match, my gear box has gone and i will only buy one with matching numbers....good luck.
