Has anyone bolted guages to the top of their lift up compartment on top of dash of a Classic 1998-2000? If so can you post some pics up. Thinking of bolting them there instead of using a Defi stle pod and still being able to use the compartment.

Cheers

I have, no pics though.

Once the lid is removed, it separates into two halves. You can do it in such a way so that the compartment is fully useable, and any screws or wires are covered up in between the two halves of the lid.
I managed to squeeze in a knocklink into the lid too.

If you make a mess of it or want to go back to standard, then theres usually plenty of spare lids on ebay for about £10.
