Has anyone bolted gauges to the top of their top central compartment of classic?
Has anyone bolted guages to the top of their lift up compartment on top of dash of a Classic 1998-2000? If so can you post some pics up. Thinking of bolting them there instead of using a Defi stle pod and still being able to use the compartment.

I have, no pics though.
Once the lid is removed, it separates into two halves. You can do it in such a way so that the compartment is fully useable, and any screws or wires are covered up in between the two halves of the lid.
I managed to squeeze in a knocklink into the lid too.
If you make a mess of it or want to go back to standard, then theres usually plenty of spare lids on ebay for about £10.
