going to look over and hopefully by a impreza turbo, 94 few goodies on it, what do i need to pay particular attention to, i know the usual mayo, leaks etc but anything else thats a common issue with the scoob?

also whats the standard boost pressure for the uk turbo what should i go to on the gauge?

 

0.7/11 psi IIRC

 

rocker cover leaks
diff leaks/funny noises
gearbox leaks/selects gear at high revs ok
clutch bite
spitting water out expansion tank/over heating on boost
rear calipers seized
disc wear /warped
piston slap from cold very common as long as not too bad
bottom of rad for rust and leaks
steering rack wear


just be carefull as this is an old car now. hope this dont put u off lol

 

no not put off you get what you pay for but hoping for a little more in my favour, many thanks will be a great help tommorrow.
