I'm Back In Love With My Scoob (new Wheels & Grill)
Well after 8 years of Scoobs ownership I started to question if i should change Marque especially after get 25mpg instead of the normal 19mpg
I decided although not that keen on "Cosmetics" it was either a car make over or move on.
So I have replaced
1) The Cars original Graphiics with white ones
2) Fitted a Zunsport Grill set
3) Fitted Team Dynamics 18"x8 white with blue rims
Originally only wanted just the white and no blue rim but supplier could only get Blue rim jobbies but still still love them
Every time see or get in it i start to grin again
what do you lot reckon?
Tony
Ps the window sticker is just for the trip over to the WRC Germany

I could lie here , but I won't my car was used as a Pattern so their bloke did it but I helped
But yes fairly simple, IIRC they have full instruction and photos
This is by memory, so probaly 90% right but will give you an Idea
1) take the side grills out first. tow to pin lips, (there are also a couple of hidden plastic snap in clips at the back of them they are obvious when you see them) unlip them with long screwdriver.
2) Remove the centre one (now easyier to get to hidden catches through right and left holes)
3) unsrew the back plates
4) Replace black grills with new ones.
5) Hardest job getting STi bad off, those push on one way washers cut them off/break them with side cuts or the plastic pins of the STi badge will break. buy new clips if you want it back on
5) Snap the grills in place, center one first, just in case.
6) pop the 4 pins back in top of side grills
Allow about 1 hour and a few grazes to hands undoing clips at back, it's tight
Bottom Gril
1) Put Masking tape on bottom bumper to protect from scratches and to mark holes
2) Measure and mark holes on Tape
3) Test that the Grill and holes line up, remeber grill is curved not flat when fitted (old story measure twice drill once)
4) Drill 4 holes in bottom of bumper test Grill fits in place
5) 4 clips are placed (mesurements supplied) on the bottom edge of the top black part of grill opening.
6) remove Tape carefully place the Grill pins into holes then the top 4 flat plates clip into new clips on the Black bit
Allow a Hour as said measure twice cut once

As you know Tony, these are the whells that I suggested quite a while back, I think they look superb, great mids think alike and all that.
They are also an excellent choice due to being different, not the usual PFF7 jobbies that everyone has, which IMO are beginning to look a bit boring.
As for the grill, did you get it direct from Zunsport? Its advertised on their site for around £200 for the full kit, again I think this looks superb and will most likely go for this myself.
All in all, good work mate!
