went off to my new branch of work today, just before arriving to work i go through a appro. 1 km tunnel. 0530 in the morning with no cars around, i creased a smile across my face, i'd heard about these tunnel runs in scoobies, windows down and listening to the growl. so wound me windows down just before., dropped down some gear ready to hear the roar, only got a stock exhaust, but thought i'd get something over the old 1.6 focus we used to have....
only thing i could hear was wind, and really loud wind,

so, what's the trick to tunnel runs, is the tunnel too long. had loads of fans along the roof, actually looked like aeroplane engines.

 

Might have someting to do with the not having a loud enough exhaust!!!, if it's a standard exhaust your not going to really hear much

 

probably, wanting to get something more, but haven't got the readies, and everything in this country seems to be much more than anywhere else, Finland.
couldn't even hear the engine properly.

Get a Blitz Nur Spec on... sure you'll hear something then... plus u wont dtop grinning either

 

or need to drop down a gear and give it some

my gf hears me come home at 5am says it sounds like thunder before i even turn into my road lol

 

ebay is your friend mate not sure how your country are on import taxes, but UK ebay (and America with the weak dollar) have sooooo many to choose from.

stock exhaust on my sti was a joke, the wrx must be even more quieter. backbox change and normal service will be resumed

 

get an afterburner with the de-resonator pipe!
that'll do the trick
