Default manifold to head [gaskets]

hi am new on here ...i have owned lots and lots of cosworths in the past and a few subarus .. i now have a wrx 53 plate ... my question is how easy is it too change manifold to head exhaust gaskets as one is blowing ... i looked under the car and the headers are heat wrapped ..dont know why... i also have a apexi avcr boost controller fitted and a loud exhaust which needs making quieter as i have track day booked august 17th ... is there any way to tell if ecu has been remapped ? sorry for all the questions cheers jeff

Default

There are 3 nuts each side on the headers/cyl head join and 2 bolts and nuts holding the up-pipe to the headers( if they are OEM Headers) - so easy enough to remove.
Have a look at the ECU and see if there is any stickers/writing on it to say if it has been mapped in the past.
