Whats the difference between an 05 and an 06 STI?
Are they the same shape? Same engine capacity?

06 was the first of the hawkeye I think.

So 05 would be 2L Blob and 06 would be 2.5L hawk (in europe anyway, they kept the 2L in japan)

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

06 was the first Hawkeye and 07 was the last Subaru eh...

There are one or two blobeyes on 06 plates as per the usual cross over. In the UK car the difference is vast as the hawkeye gets the 2.5ltr engine over the old 2.0ltr.
