pistonheads is free so thats my bet and how i sold my car.

a decent description and lots of points about the car is good as it interests people more.

i wrote my description out on ms word and cut/pasted onto the p/heads ad.

value... no idea but current market suggests not a lot.

Near 370bhp on that turbo and a catted 2.5 system. STI's dont make that power remapped with a fully decatted 3" system.

Are you sure dastek werent having you on.? that seems a good 40bhp+ more than what your mods are capable of giving.

But on a price note.. STI's can be had for 7-8.5k so below 7 would be a starting point.

Put it back to standard and sell the bits ? The parts fitted would fetch £2k+ if sold on their own (turbo £300-£350, injectors £150ish, Brembos with discs £350, intercooler £100, scoop £75,undertray £60-£70, wheels+tyres £250 ish, etc,etc) You should then easily sell the car for £3500-£4500 as standard ?

of course i know your right but wouldnt i need a remap if it went back to standard ? suppose its no hard ship is it whats a remap 200 squid .

All I meant was that he will see more than his asking price of £4500 if he sells the bits and the std car separately. Could price the car at £3995, people are asking £2500 for 'K' reg imports for heavens sake ! Sell the upgrades on here, always a good demand, net return £5500-£6k, result !

I thought it sounded funny aswell, to get over 350 you'd deffo need new headers aswell.

My Standard bug (2001) went for £5100 - this has a few mods...can't see it fetching more that 6k tbh.
