If it is anything like the usual third party warrenty you'll find everything on the car is wear and tear bar an engine failure. However, the claim limit is usually something stupid like £1000 i.e. not enough to cover the cost of a new engine.

Really check out the options before signing up.

5t.

Thumbs down

Yes, bad one, not me, hasd it on a car the company (i used to work for) purchased just out of manufactures warranty

It is insurance. They have differing levels of 'cover', even with the best cover you will find that in 99% of cases it will be 'waer and tear' so not covered.

It is a bitch to get them to pay out and pretty much impossible. You will end up agruing with their expert whio is always right.

Only had one dealing with them on my old Mondeo ST220 when the dual mass flywheel ate itself. Had no problems with them got new starter, clutch and flywheel fitted. Expected alsorts of trouble with them but paid up straight away
