Turbo Coolant Question

hey, on my uk 2000 impreza there is a chunky pipe that comes off the top of the turbo that connects to another unit which says on the lid do not remove lid when hot. basically that chunky pipe has a split in it so its spraying out liquid, i have a sillicone hose from my last car spare so what liquid is this....oil or water?

Its the engine coolant, the hose is the outlet from the turbo to the expansion tank.
Once its cold, get everything ready (to minimise coolant loss!), swap the pipe and top up with a 50/50 antifreeze water mix, mind as you'll probably only need a tiny amount, tap water probably would be OK!
