Full system probably.
When I had mine remapped after the Exhaust was fitted,I got the mapper to cancel CEL light.
No problems 3 years after the event.>>>>>>>>>

Nah, it is just the CEL Orange light doesn't like it.
Several choices.
Go to Maplins & get a Resistor .,80P & follow the link.
Go on to search on here & there are several with Piccies of how to do it.
I tried that, but it wouldn't work for me.
I had a H&S full 3.5" System fitted.
As I said,I then had a remap.
The mapper cancelled it out on the ECU settings.
Works great.
Any probs.
Just give me a shout.

so i take it from doing this and taking the lambda sensor out and fitting this resistor would get rid of the cel but doesn't the ecu need to know the air to fuel ratio from the sensor so if fitting the resistor is fooling the ecu by giving it a fixed signal, could this not be quite dangerous to the engine cause it then wouldn't detect if it running too lean or something.
i could b way off the mark cause this is my first scooby i don't really know nearly as much as i should about them yet, (hence i'm on here!!! lol)
I like said at the start of the post, i've just order a full stainless from the turbo back and just wanna make sure i done the right thing.
do ulot have to change them for the MOT's aswell.
Sorry if i'm being a thick ****.

Listen, the easiest thing is.
a) Get Your New Exhaust Fitted.
b) Get a remap. (it's worth it)
c) If the CEL light stays on, get the Mapper to cancel it on your ECU.
d) Job done happy motoring, with a much quicker car.

Yes!!!
Just get a GOOD Back Box.
H&S, Zero Sports, Millteck etc etc.#
You'll get the burble but NOT the extra grunt.
Forget abot CEL lights, Omissions ballocks>>>
FFS, let me know how you get on, after all this imput.
Good Luck.
