I guess i would be classed as in classicville owning two.. but I really like the 08 Sti... more so than what happened between classic and 08
perhaps it is the reaction it gave.. most people hate it.. therefore I like it?

There wont be many and thats not because of the shape either its just because the fact they are new and the quantity of cars is far less than the older models, so you will probably have more classic owners due to the larger ammount of those about over the new age etc.
What it doesnt mean is that the classics are the best, it just means they are more available to the masses as they are cheaper

So if I've counted correctly above, that's 7 sold.
A few months back, my dealer told me sales of new STi's were a fraction of STi sales from the same period in 2007, and WRX sales were now non existent.
I've owned Impreza's for 11 years now; currently own a classic wrx ra track car, and a new age JDM STi.
And to solve any arguements, classics make better track day cars, but the new age are better on the roads.
Will be buying something new to replace the new age soon, but it WON'T be an 08 STi.
New EVO X? New-ish hawkeye STi (not UK but something different) Spec-C ra-r?
Or sell both for an RS4?

Nice looking car in view my scooby!!!
If I had a 08 STi it would have to be in white with black or anthercite wheels!!!!
Didnt like the 08 STi when it first come out, but the more I see them the more I like them, same goes for the hawkeye scoob, when it first come out everybody was saying how ugly they where, now you see them and they look awesome!!!!

08 STi
Here is another one. Owned 08 STi since 1st March, and loved every moment. I gave up posting on here a long time ago (this one just slipped out). On this site if it is not negative about the 08 STi, then someone turns it negative. Why do so many want to comment on something they don’t want and don’t like? Nothing better to do? Then buy a decent car, and get out more.

Here, here.
I've got one, and I'm made up. Very practical & goes like stink too. I'm sure mine was the only one in Wirral until this morning....when I saw one in Bromborough reail estate - DGM the same as mine!

The '08 shape is not the prettiest thing on the road, but its not that awful either. Does it look any worse that say a Focus ST, Civic-R etc? Not really. Lot of modern cars aren't too pretty.
The '08 WRX and STi are also good value from the importers - £14500 for a car with the WRX performance and equipment is a bargain (running costs are another matter though ). I think I'd at least give consideration to owning one if I did lowish miles.
