STi V7 Type-R coupe........Oh well, guess I can wait a little bit longer.

on the smaller pic of the car, surely to god those arent 'biscuit rims'???

looks like a taxi with a bonnet scoop.

That's not all, this car does not have the front subframe, which contributed to some of the weight saving.
The version with 17" alloys have abs, whereas the one with 16" steel wheels have the adjustable diff but no abs.

Don't be surprised, since the very early days of Japanese rally homologation specials, there's always a 'taxi spec' on offer. From the Galant VR4, to the Pulsar GTi-R, to all the Evo RS, they always have a version with steel rims, base model seats, no a/c and unfancy steering wheels.
This is the first time subaru have done a taxi spec tho.
