Default is that a rattle i hear

jeeeez out and about yesterday and my turbo cooler has started to rattle, the air cooler that sit's directly beneath the bonnet scoop.......

Any ideas how many bolts hold this on cause it going in the bin.........

The intercooler is held on by two bolts either side of it, well it is on mine. Whats going in the bin?

the air cooler above the turbo..the steel pressed case.........not mee intercooler thingy......

IIRC there's four bolts that hold it on.

What the turbo heatshield which allows the cool air to be filtered for the turbo? Cheap tinny metal thing with like a mesh top

done what a game getting the bottom bolt off....mm by mm finger tip twist......the rattle has now gone.......oh yes......that's another 10bhp now then

well on reflection after the removal of this piece of tin, it has left me thinking what a little turbo i have tucked way there......that has got to change....

Now lets see what's outhere.....

Dont quote me on this but that is there for a reason ie keep the turbo cooler also keep the heat out of the engine bay which in turn will give you more power.
